For years, I chased peak performance as a professional and collegiate ski racer. On the surface, I was the epitome of health – a Division 1 athlete, pushing my body to achieve incredible feats. But behind the scenes, my body was sending distress signals: the constant bloating after meals, the embarrassing gas, the unpredictable digestive chaos, and a fatigue so deep it stole my joy and energy.
Like so many driven women, I pushed through, ignoring the whispers until my body finally screamed. Suddenly, the energy I relied on vanished. The identity I'd built around being a strong athlete felt like a distant memory. I knew something had to change.
My journey to healing wasn't a straight line. It involved countless appointments, frustrating dead ends, and a growing sense of disconnect from my own body. It wasn't until I embraced a holistic approach, one that honored my body's innate wisdom and focused on nourishing it with whole foods (without unnecessary restrictions!), that I began to truly heal. I learned to listen, to trust, and to find strength in slowing down.
That personal transformation ignited a passion in me – a deep desire to help other women navigate their own health challenges and reclaim their vitality. That's why I founded Peak AthlEAT nutrition.
As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and Master Restorative Wellness Practitioner (MRWP), I bring both professional expertise and firsthand understanding to my work. I specialize in helping women who are experiencing energy crashes, bloating, digestive issues, weight gain, and painful periods get to the root cause of their symptoms.
My approach is grounded in the principles of bio-individuality and a "food-first" philosophy. This means we'll create a personalized nutritional plan that honors your unique needs and focuses on the power of whole, nutrient-dense foods. We'll also explore sustainable lifestyle shifts that support your overall well-being, from optimizing digestion to enhancing energy and balancing hormones.
My background as an elite athlete and my experience as the High Performance Director of Nutrition at a leading ski academy have given me a unique insight into the demands placed on the body and the critical role of nutrition, movement, recovery, and mindset in achieving true peak health – in all areas of your life.
